Day 02 Nameri to Lama Camp - 110 kms; Drive time: 5 hours
In the morning cross the river for a walk in the forest, to observe the rich avian life found in the park. After an early lunch proceed to Eaglenest Sanctuary. O/n at Lama Camp which is the first camp in the sanctuary Situated between an altitude of 500-3200m Eaglenest sanctuary in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh is one of the best birding destination in all of India. The forest type here varies from Temperate forests to high-altitude Bamboo plains to Tropical Rain forest. Birds like to be seen are Rufous-bellied hawk-eagle, northern goshawk, Pied Falconet, common hill-partridge, Temminck's Tragopan, Ward's Trogon, Ashy Wood-pigeon, Tawny Wood-Owl, Rufous-necked Hornbill, , Golden-throated Barbet, Crimson-breasted & Pale-headed Woodpecker, Grey-chinned Minivet, Maroon-backed accentor, Eye-browed Thrush, White-browed Shortwing, Blue-fronted Robin, Little Forktail, Golden & Rufous-breasted Bush-robin, Purple Cochoa, Grey-sided, Scaly & Black-faced Laughingthrush, Red-faced, Coral-billed & slender-billed scimitar-babbler
